DDR5-6000: CL30 or CL36?

Editorial specification comparison · checked 23 October 2026

Both kits contain two modules totalling 32 GB with a tested 6000 MT/s profile. CAS latency and profile voltage differ. Compare timings at the same data rate and inspect the complete profile.

Kingston lists a default JEDEC rate of 4800 MT/s for both. Higher advertised speed needs a supported profile and hardware. Check the motherboard memory list and CPU limitations.

Lower CAS does not predict a fixed gain in your applications. Module height helps assess cooler clearance. Match the kit number when expanding; combining separate kits does not guarantee their tested profile.

Tested CAS latency

Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5-6000 CL3636 CL

Tested voltage

Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5-6000 CL301.4 V

Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5-6000 CL361.35 V

A profile speed is not the default speed

The advertised data rate and timings may require enabling EXPO or XMP in the BIOS. Compare kit capacity, module count and voltage together. Check the motherboard memory-support list and cooler clearance; equal DDR generation alone does not guarantee the profile works.
