27-inch QHD: compare the method too

Editorial specification comparison · checked 23 October 2026

Both screens have 2560 × 1440 QHD resolution, with different maximum refresh rates. The iiyama reaches 200 Hz over DisplayPort; its specified HDMI maximum is 144 Hz at that resolution.

Do not rank the response figures directly: Dell uses GtG in Extreme mode, while iiyama specifies MPRT. They are different tests. Seek independent motion-clarity and overshoot measurements.

Check computer outputs and cables. Laptop docks also need sufficient bandwidth for your resolution and Hz. A USB-C hub port does not establish laptop charging support.

Check the connection behind the Hz

The maximum refresh rate can depend on the input and resolution. MPRT and GtG are different response-time methods; a lower number across these methods is not proof of a faster panel. USB-C data ports do not automatically charge a laptop. Check documented Power Delivery and video support.
