Pixel 9 Pro: compact or XL?

Both Pro models have 16GB RAM, a Tensor G4 and a dedicated 5× telephoto. The XL changes the physical choice: 6.8 rather than 6.3 inches and 221 rather than 199 grams. Megapixels alone do not establish camera quality.

The XL has more typical battery capacity, but a larger display can consume more energy. We do not convert mAh into promised runtime. Owner reports on heat and battery differ and are not a representative sample.

Both selected configurations have 256GB. Choose the exact storage variants you need in the comparison tool, then verify the regional retail code and the shop’s actual configuration.
